The government is actively working to address these issues and promote sustainable urban development. Urbanization has been on the rise in Namibia since independence in 1990, driven by multiple factors, including improved living conditions. This article explores the complexities of urbanization in Namibia, with a spotlight on Windhoek, the capital city.
