Despite the remarkable progress of modern feminist movements worldwide, females in East Asia are still beleaguered by visible and invisible oppression imposed by patriarchal society, among which sexual violence has recently seen a rising trend of occurrence with its detrimental impacts upon female victims. Facing such serious situation, various forces have been endeavoring to fight against sexual assaults and promote women’s rights.
